In the wake of the COVID19 crisis, Congress has passed the CARES act, which includes a temporary universal charitable deduction. If you take the standard deduction on your 2020 tax return, you can claim a brand new "above-the-line" deduction of up to $300 per taxpayer ($600 for married filing joint return) for cash donations to charity. Whether you have been personally touched by The Center for Youth and Family Solutions, you share in our mission to impact lives, or you would like to give back to your local community, your contribution to our organization allows us to continue to engage and serve children and families in need across Central and East Central Illinois and the Quad Cities. There are several different ways to donate to CYFS. Gifts will be directed toward the greatest needs or you can always designate to a specific community or program if you prefer.
When making a donation to The Center for Youth and Family Solutions, we want you to feel comfortable providing your payment information to us. In order for you to feel secure about your confidential information, please know we use standard protection practices with support from an industry leader, our payment processing vendor, Authorize Net.
Just Like Me
Our Just Like Me activity fund gives kids who have experienced significant trauma a sense of normalcy by enjoying things like riding a bike, playing little league or going to the water park with friends. These experiences can be costly, and not all families can afford them. That is why our Just Like Me fund is so important, as it allows kids in our care a chance to quite simply, be kids!
If you are following WisemanTrek –and want to make a donation- this is the fund he is referring to!
The Jim Kleine Youth Enrichment Fund
To honor Jim Kleine, former Program Coordinator for The Center for Youth and Family Solutions’ Guardian Angel Home Residential Treatment program, we are humbled to announce a donor graciously started The Jim Kleine Youth Enrichment Fund. The purpose of this fund is to provide the youth at Guardian Angel with enrichment activities- opportunities that will help stimulate their minds as they learn to heal, cope and thrive from severe abuse and neglect. You too, can be part of the solution and donate to this very special fund!
