Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Peoria and Tazewell Counties
RSVP will recruit volunteers to assist existing non-profit organizations ranging from area schools and after school programs, to parks and recreational areas, to hospitals and clinics, to food delivery and food pantry sites, to agencies providing services to in-home seniors as well as to any number of other organizations that are faced with shrinking federal and state resources that help carry out their missions.

Guardian Angel Home Reading Buddy
Guardian Angel Home (GAH) Reading Program’s goal is to improve the reading level, comprehension and interest in reading among the clients in residential. This goal is achieved by matching each participant with an individual volunteer who will work one on one with the students by listening/helping them read out loud.
Advancement Volunteer
Advancement Volunteer will assist the Advancement Department in promoting the Center for Youth and Family Solutions throughout the 37 counties we serve, through both online and print mediums.
After School Assistant
Afterschool Assistant offers youth ages 6-14 assistance with their homework, indoor and outdoor recreational activities, and the opportunity to work on many craft projects.
Childcare Volunteer
Provide a safe environment to youth of all ages needing childcare during our Parent Support Group meeting
Clerical Assistant Volunteer
Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the administrative staff by assisting with office procedures and tasks
Special Events Volunteer
Special Events Volunteer will assist the Advancement Department in promoting, setting up and other ancillary duties involved to ensure the success of that event
Transportation Volunteer
Assist in the transporting of clients of The Center for Youth and Family Solutions to and from authorized appointments, visits, events, or errands.
Grounds Maintenance Volunteer
Assist the maintenance team in general landscaping, repair, maintenance, and possible construction projects in regards to the properties of The Center for Youth and Family Solutions.
Legislative Advocacy Volunteer
Assist various programs at The Center for Youth and Family Solutions in contacting and educating our elective officials and other member of our local communities of the consequences of specific legislation relative to our individual clients and the families that we serve
Performing Arts Volunteer
Give young person (male or female between the ages of 8 and 18) assistance in acquiring the needed skill set in a variety of performing arts such as learning to play musical instrument, singing, dance, poetry reading
